GFC Program Manager

Role will support strategic people and process related efforts for a large, global organization.  Qualified candidates must be able to manage a portfolio of work to meet objectives, and be self-directed, collaborative, analytical and proactive in execution and problem resolution. The Program Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of people and process related projects and work streams specific to the Global Financial Control (GFC) team.  Engaging to ensure project scope, objectives, requirements, phase deliverables are met
  • Assisting the Executive with governance, communications, and organizational activities
  • Identifying impacts on the organization and recommending solutions while guiding teams to an optimal solution including challenging the teams to design optimal solutions and think outside of the box
  • Developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan and managing change control processes
  • Engaging with stakeholders at varied levels to align on key objectives and advising to proactively highlight and mitigate risks
  • Consolidating calendar of events and statuses and issues tracking
  • Communicating program status, risks, issues and outcomes to senior stakeholders
  • Tracking project costs and providing forecast updates
  • Partner across GFC, CFO and enterprise teams

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Project management experience specific to people and process related initiatives with work breakdown structure and identification of dependencies, optimization of task sequencing, coordination of multiple business teams and activities, effective meeting facilitation, influencing and assertiveness
  • Highly organized with the ability to work effectively with colleagues in many locations, manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment, adapt to changing requirements and work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with peers across teams, work with all levels of the organization and influence/lead diverse groups to achieve desired results
  • Results oriented with demonstrated ability to drive action and sustain momentum
  • Dedicated team player comfortable working in a large, complex organization
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to target messaging to diverse audiences
  • Strong verbal communication skills for setting expectations and influencing teams to deliver
  • Superior skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with initiatives and/or deliverables related to GFC
  • Proven ability to drive or influence process redesign efforts
  • Consulting experience
