The Senior Data Architect position within the Enterprise Data Management’s (EDM) data resiliency and recovery operations function, is responsible for defining and implementing an enterprise framework for identifying the last good copy of data for restoral to enable business resumption. Partnering with Enterprise Resiliency and Business Continuity on taxonomy requirements needed for consistent execution globally. Responsible for understanding the bank’s Critical Services and current state resiliency and recovery environment. Partnering with data policy owners and others in EDM to ensure data resiliency definitions and requirements are identified and consistently applied across our operating model to best mitigate resiliency and retention risks.
Participate in evolving the resiliency strategy specifically to the firm’s data, with primary accountability for monitoring data and records on the health of our domains and critical services. May require managing several high-risk and time sensitive global initiatives. Will also be responsible for partnering with other operational team members monitoring control effectiveness, testing data quality and mapping data flow as input to analyzing data corruption impacts to the ‘last good copy’ options of data. May also be asked to participate in various senior leader and regulatory monitoring efforts EDM stakeholders, Front Line Unit/Control Function contacts or Control Partners (Compliance and Operational Risk, BCMR and Audit).

Directs, manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities of the Systems Architecture section. Develops, plans and schedules the development, introduction, communication and maintenance of the corporate systems architecture including the applications, data, and infrastructure architectures and assures that this architecture is integrated with the business area architectures and data governance. Assures that the corporate architecture is consistent with disaster recovery plan objectives. Develops reports and presentations on infrastructure products and new technology for all levels of management and technical staff. Coordinates the development of the overall project plans and timetables. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Provides input on policy issues.
