Reporting Analyst - Band 5

Job Description:

Provide analytical and reporting support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather, review and organize data into reports  that monitor performance, test the effectiveness of key risks and controls, and demonstrate effectiveness of action plans.  Present results to management in various governance forums. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implement and automate reporting solutions to address business requirements
  • Collect and organize data in order to track, report and monitor results and action plans
  • Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence with a Line of Business or Enterprise Control Function
  • Develop content that summarizes results and findings and can be leveraged to drive results

Required Skills:

  • Strong in Power Point, Excel. 
  • Tableau skills and working knowledge of complaints preferred
  • Experience in a reporting, data analysis, or similar business role
  • Experience with change / project management
  • Ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organization and influence others to achieve goals without a direct reporting relationship
  • Ability to work in a very detailed manner, while looking broadly across the business to develop connections and themes
  • Ability to manage concurrent activities under significant time constraints
  • Ability to effectively balance risk and reward in related to complex information, processes and relationships and derive simple solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor message to the audience
