Role Description

The EMEA Fixed Income Sales team are looking to add an additional salesperson to our Rates Sales team covering our key accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We are looking for strong salespeople to join this sales group to focus on our rates product offering.

  • Responsible for the delivery of product solutions to a wide universe of clients in the institutional space
  • Responsible for marketing the bank’s services to new and existing clients
  • To ensure penetration increase of the business with the bank’s existing clients
  • Provide advice and opinion to clients with appropriate strategies
  • Price and execute transactions with approved clients
  • Ensure all audit, legal and regulatory requirements (AML, KYC) are adhered to, including compliance with all limits

The team:

  • Part of a Broader EU Rates Sales team that consists of multilingual / multi national backgrounds across Analyst to MD level
  • The team has a successful track record, having won the Derivatives House of the year 2019 award
  • Trading floor in Paris with a growing market share YOY

Core Skills

  • Experience marketing / selling Rates products with in-depth understanding of other Fixed Income products
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving  skills are required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • Well-developed numerate skills and a good understanding of macro-and micro-economics
  • Marketing, sales and presentation skills
  • Confident with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good systems knowledge (Bloomberg, Excel etc...)
  • Fluency in German is essential
