Senior Business Support Manager

Job Description:

Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Markets Operations Technology COO and Senior Leadership team
  • Requires collaboration with leaders and partners from across the enterprise, and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Management responsibility over a team / managers
  • Location Strategy, ESAT, P&L management and Forecasting
  • Drive completion of critical deliverables by working across the team
  • Develop, manage and support critical deliverable routines
  • Take lead on special initiatives and/or support existing bodies of work
  • Drive production of consistent and appropriate documentation for GBAM CTO

Required skills / prior experience

  • 15+ years’ experience with business management processes
  • Experience with P&L management and forecasting
  • Experience developing location Strategy
  • Team Leadership Skills
  • Proven experience in Business Management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with Sr. Executives
  • Ability to develop concise and effective senior level presentations
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, such as formulas, graphs, modeling and data manipulation
  • Execution and results oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines with excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent follow up, resolution and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, metrics development
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in fast decision-making and problem-solving
  • Technical expertise in SharePoint design and/or PowerPoint and/or Excel and/or graphic design
  • Work independently
  • Knowledge of and ability to navigate the enterprise
  • TCOA
  • ESAT
