This is a very senior position and suitable candidates MUST possess extremely high levels of specialized, hands-on, subject matter expertise (SME), knowledge, experience and skills that they will bring to this production support role. This SME will facilitate triage leadership of complex technical issues and will provide tactical and strategic guidance and solutions to complex issues – usually under stressful situations with considerable time pressures. Strong leadership and communication skills will also ensure that management stakeholders are sufficiently updated with incident summary and progress. Individual will keep current with emerging technologies and will also lead the creation and implementation of appropriate standards to ensure robust and resilient technology solutions.
This individual will have the opportunity to directly engage in influencing and improving overall application availability, resiliency and performance thru technical leadership and collaboration with engineering and development teams, and working alongside technology vendor partners.
Required Job Skills
• Must possess DEEP interest in technology, forensics, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Willing to keep digging until an answer is found
• Broad understanding of Web-Based, n-tier, distributed platforms.
• Software development, DevOPs and CICD tools experience (Cloudbees Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Bitbucket, JIRA etc)
