Data Architect - Connected / Zero Trust

Job Description:

The Global Information Security Connected Trust organization is a newly established function focused on driving improved reliability and recoverability across business and security services.  This team will focus across 3 primary domains: 

Bank of America: working closely with the Enterprise teams to progress the direction/designs of processes, systems and technology solutions towards a Zero Trust paradigm

Financial Sector: to drive an overall strategy of Zero Trust in the industry and our partners.

Open Source and Standards Organizations: third parties and critical utilities to drive standardization of Zero Trust across all industries.

This position is for a Data Architect who specializes in Data Management and Protection technologies.  Must be able to meet demands of working across multiple work streams, communicate effectively with senior technology leaders and business partners.  Organized evidence of compliance and producing documentation will also be key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence stakeholders to ensure alignment & effective prioritization of product roadmaps in relation to Connected Trust strategy
  • Continuously follow and evaluate Zero Trust technology landscape (market/best practice) for gap/opportunity development
  • Bridge the gap between various development teams designing solutions and business partners to fully understand their requirements
  • Define enterprise wide standards and policies in respect to emerging technologies and provide the control framework to ensure adherence

Required Job Skills:

  • Working knowledge of IT security and risk management practices
  • Familiarity with the concepts and technologies supporting golden sources of asset management and verification.
  • Strong understanding of asset management which provide data discovery, tagging, integrity, accessibility, and protection.
  • Capability to coalesce such concepts into a Zero Trust strategy.
  • Understanding of data design concepts and modern application interaction patterns
  • Familiarity with deployments and integrations patterns in regards to data management/protection solutions within the cloud (Azure or AWS)
  • Prior experience doing product evaluations and documenting requirements for emerging technologies.
  • Success in delivering on large-scale, global projects and programs

Desired Job Skills:

  • 5+ years working in Information Technology
  • 3+ years working in Data Management
  • 3+ years of experience with attribute and data access controls
  • Understanding of financial services regulatory and legal environment

Education/Certification:

  • CISSP Certification desired
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
