Service Delivery Consultant - Software License Analyst

Job Description:

This request is for Software License Compliance (SLiC) Team. The primary goal of the team is to continue to mature the Bank’s processes and tools to effectively optimize the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization and disposal of software such that we can ensure software license compliance and have optimized our software portfolio. We need this resource to take the lead in driving and analyzing SLiCs requirements; design, develop and support Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that meet the reporting and analytics needs end to end. 

The successful candidate will lead the Software License Compliance Platform stability and integration efforts in critical areas including driving the platform currency and reporting framework. This candidate will be primarily responsible to manage issues and requirements of the Software License Monitoring and Remediation Teams

• Ownership and execution of system platform change plans
• Responsible for contingency planning and testing. Creation of user testing scripts and leading/facilitating UAT testing and production implementation
• Identify and resolve data reporting issues
• Perform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reports
• Monitoring Data Quality Dashboards and disseminating issues to appropriate teams
• Ensure in/outbound data feeds are in place and requires close collaboration with cross functional teams
• Manage permission access
• Lead for collection and prioritizing platform issues (leveraging JIRA) and managing support Cases
• Collaborate with Business Partners and End-Users to develop business requirements and specification documents.
• Work with business units to identify new data requirements, analysis strategies and reporting mechanisms
• Responsible for understanding new platform releases – added capabilities and features and understanding and impact of know Issues
• Lead process and operational excellence improvements

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Flexera FlexNet and Analytics a plus
• Knowledge of Asset Management and Discovery Tools i.e. BMC Discovery, Microsoft CB
• Strong SQL development and optimization skills
• Knowledge of IBM Cognos
