Here in our London office we are looking to recruit an EMEA External Engagement Officer to join our Global Information Security (GIS) team. You will be responsible for supporting/influencing regional cyber resilience strategy to reduce risk to the bank. This will include delivery of current UK initiatives and, through these initiatives, developing further engagements across Europe; strengthening partnerships in the UK and regionally to drive the global finance sector cyber resilience agenda. 


  • Embed 3 days per week in the UK National Cyber Security Centre. Lead the development of both the Financial Services Cyber Collaboration Centre and Industry 100 initiatives
  • Build and deepen partnerships regionally and globally across industry government and the financial authorities, to drive the finance sector cyber resilience agenda
  • Maintain an intimate working connection with the wider BAC GIS team, working 2 days per week from both the Camberley and London offices to enhance our ability to protect our eco-system (clients, sector partners, and supply chain).
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the regional and global threat landscape, helping the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to inform senior executives in the bank and driving cyber resilience strategy

Core Skills:

  • Excellent experience in Information Security in the finance sector at a senior level with good knowledge of banking / finance technical operations and future innovation
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to initiate own work priorities and manage a portfolio independently
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive projects with national and regional impact
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate, influence and negotiate with senior partners
  • High level of analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
  • Excellent oral and written briefing skills with the ability to produce and present management progress and status reports
  • Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical audiences
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the EMEA GIS team
  • MSc/BSc in a technology or technology security related subjected or relevant experience
