The Advisor Development Program (ADP) is a dynamic program that incorporates expert coaching and training from our outstanding Academy, an onboarding, education and professional development organization. Program participants will benefit from direct interaction with clients and business leaders and will have access to opportunities that promote long-term success as Merrill Financial Advisors. ADP is modernizing the development of advisors through innovative business development strategies and the use of technology to help you meet clients wherever they are.

How are advisors trained?

ADP training includes robust coursework taught by subject matter experts through dedicated learning time with our Academy program and high-tech immersive training. Participants will be in a class together, benefiting from a supportive team environment and dedicated leadership through the entirety of the experience.

Who are you?

Someone who is interested in a financial services career and is ready to get their FINRA registrations.

ADP FSA

  • Work in a Bank of America financial center as a Merrill FSA and be a part of the team
  • Support clients with a focus on affluent clients
  • Obtain your required FINRA registrations
  • Learn the basics of and provide access to Bank of America banking, credit and lending solutions and Merrill investing solutions

Who are you?

An experienced financial services professional, who already has their Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations.

ADP MFSA

  • Work in a Merrill Wealth Management branch
  • Provide access to products and capabilities across Bank of America banking and Merrill investing
  • Prepare to become a Merrill Financial Advisor (ADP FA)
  • For licensed professionals who may have limited experience providing advice

Who are you?

Someone who successfully completes the ADP MFSA phase and is ready to progress to the final phase of the program.

ADP FA

  • For licensed and experience Financial Advisors
  • Work in a Merrill Wealth Management branch
  • Demonstrate sustainable business development activities
  • Provide access to products and capabilities across Bank of America banking and Merrill investing

Developing the next generation of Financial advisors

ADP integrates Financial Advisor career opportunities from across the company into a single, coherent program. The program will enable new as well as experienced advisors to develop skills in servicing clients across wealth bands and to access the breadth of relationships across the Enterprise.
