Job Description:
Responsible for building, consolidating and reporting stress testing results for EST management. Performs complex analysis related to earnings, balance sheet, capital and liquidity as well as associated risk exposures. Provides analytical support for explaining business/forecast strategies in the context of baseline and stress forecasts. Reviews and analyzes trends in stress results to best understand implications both internal and externally. Understands complex interactions between economic and operational factors and their resulting impact to product, business line and financial results & position of the company. Challenges assumptions and results and is comfortable communicating and influencing business partners based on these results. Can quickly build credibility with partners. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. Requires strong analytical, , influencing and communication skills. Comfortable with a dynamic, fluid work environment with tight deadlines. Experience with risk management, finance and/or accounting preferred.

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in related field

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with design and production of climate change scenarios

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidance

  • Review and challenge of regulatory and internal climate scenario stress results

  • Production of presentation materials

  • Work with external teams to help them embed climate into their stress testing processes

  • Enhancement and automation of existing processes

Required:

  • Demonstrate understanding of Climate Change risk management and/or stress testing

  • Ability to understand impacts of adverse economic and market scenarios

  • Understanding of income statement, balance sheet, capital and liquidity positions

  • Understanding of the Company's FLUs / CFs and how our business operates

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Detail oriented with the ability to analyze complex issues

  • Ability to navigate in a highly complex organization and operate effectively in changing environment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully and efficiently in a fast paced, regulatory driven environment

  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint (tables, graphs, etc.) and Excel (critical)


Desired:

  • Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst

  • Prior Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Governance Experience

  • Understanding of financial reporting systems, legal entities, and/or role of regulatory authorities
