Our technologists work closely with both technical and business partners to deliver high-quality, scalable and secure systems that support the bank’s strategic goals.


Programme Overview

The Software Engineering Insight Programme is a one-day, in-person experience designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in software engineering within financial services.

 

The programme will take place onsite at our Central Park office in Dublin on Tuesday 14th April 2026.

 

What to expect

  • Learn about Bank of America, our culture and our Global Technology organisation
  • Understand the role of software engineers within a global financial institution
  • Take part in a team-based hackathon focused on collaborative problem-solving (You will need to bring your own laptop)
  • Meet and network with technologists, interns, and early career software engineers
  • Receive guidance on the Software Engineering Industrial Placement programme and recruitment process

 

Eligibility

  • Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate or integrated master’s degree and returning to their penultimate year of university in September 2026, with a 6-month Software Engineering Industrial Placement starting in either January or March 2027  as part of their academic programme.
  • Attained a minimum of 112 UCAS points at A levels or equivalent
