Our Global Markets Off-cycle Analyst programme gives our interns maximum exposure to the various products within Equities Financing across Physical Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan, Single Name and Index Delta One products.
Programme Overview
Our off-cycle interns participate in a 12 month programme within Equity Financing Trading and Financial Resources Group (FRG). Mirroring the role of full-time traders, this program acts as a unique opportunity to gain exposure to life within the Trading function of Prime Financing working with Stock Loan and Delta One Trading desks. Our trading desk offers synthetic access to clients looking to access global Indices and physical and synthetic access to Equity linked securities listed within the EMEA region. Furthermore, you will work alongside FRG who are responsible for growing and optimising Prime Financing client revenues and clients’ resources footprint within the parameters of the binding constraints of the firm (capital, liquidity, balance sheet).
What you will do during the programme:
In addition to regular responsibilities, collaborate on exciting and challenging longer-term projects that will continue throughout the internship period, such as identification and implementation of operational efficiency to streamline processes.
Training and Development
Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities
The role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities from:
Given the off-cycle internship acts as a hiring channel for our Equities Financing Trading graduate program, you will be given responsibilities early and will be relied on to make a significant contribution to the team and to the clients whose relationships you are involved in.
Eligibility
Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full time employment to commence in July 2028; some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered, unfortunately we are unable to offer deferrals
