The Healthcare Investment Banking Team:

We are a leading healthcare focused M&A and financing investment banking team, covering all major healthcare verticals including Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Hospitals, Laboratories and Pharma Service Providers (e.g. Contract Development, Research and Manufacturing Organisations). The team is based in London, with a primary focus on the EMEA region, but operates on a global basis in tight coordination with the global Healthcare investment banking teams based in the US and Asia Pacific. As sector experts, the Healthcare investment banking team partners with product specialists covering M&A, equity, debt and other banking products, as well as regional generalist coverage teams across Europe. The team is well established, with strong client relationships and leading market positions, with fantastic opportunities for deal execution and development of knowledge and skills in the fast-evolving healthcare landscape.

 

Training and Development

Our Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience within Investment Banking. Your training and development are our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Full-Time Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

 

  • Work on M&A and Financing mandates across the Healthcare industry, collaborating with specialist banking product teams
  • Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's capabilities
  • Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis including valuation, benchmarking, merger modelling and other analytical exercises
  • Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future career opportunities
  • Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors

 

Eligibility

  • Candidates are required to be a recent graduate, or in their final year of study pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university, with a graduation timeframe between May 2024 – June 2025
  • Must be available to join the Graduate Analyst programme as full time from January 2025
