Job Description:
Responsible for maximizing the value for a product. Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment. Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain. With some guidance, creates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain. Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems. Creates and prioritizes work for one team. Learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams. With some guidance, creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog. Refines stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints. Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business. Individual contributor.

Position Summary
- Understand and represent the needs and requirements of a wide variety of customers
- Drive new product enhancements/updates through the development process lifecycle
- Adopt all potential Automation mechanisms
- Ensure service adoption forecasts are met
- Perform product demos and orchestrate training for customers
- Understand all aspects of the costs and financial levers that impact the product. Provide input to the overall portfolio budget and Finance partners
This Product Owner will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for critical service offerings within the Productivity Portfolio of products. The key responsibilities will include: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, developing and maintaining roadmap, and working closely with engineering, supply chain, marketing, operations and support to ensure financial and customer satisfaction goals are met.
This individual must also ensure that critical interactions are maintained with key vendors who are aligned to meet project goals; maintaining relationships with internal vendor management teams to ensure satisfactory contract negotiations.
This Product Owner's job also includes ensuring that the product and communication efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals, including, ensuring smooth execution for critical initiatives, ensuring customer experience is maximized and time to market goals are met and within the appropriate guidelines. This involves managing key Capability Models and Tech Blueprints requited by Enterprise Architecture and Application Governance teams. This person will be responsible for multiple technology products and projects within the email ecosystem of services, impacting all business units across a large financial services enterprise.
This Product Owner is expected to:
- Define the product strategy and roadmap(s)
- Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification and the appropriate business rationale
- Work with external third parties as required
- Work with an extensive array of internal key stakeholders to ensure activities are completed
- Develop and manage the core positioning and messaging for the product across various marketing media and campaigns
- Deliver monthly metrics including volumes, savings, and expenses with forecasts
- Manage costs allocation across lines of business
- Run beta and POC programs with early-stage products and samples
- Be an expert with respect to alterative / competing products
- Deliver well organized and impactful presentations to all levels in the organization, with particular attention to executive presentations.

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of product management discipline, including new product development, testing and deployment (SLDC)
- Prior experience in a high-volume production environment
- Knowledge of unstructured data challenges as well as collaboration and productivity product familiarity
- A knowledge of the Microsoft 365 and its components is a plus
- A knowledge of the Compliance and Governance solutions built into the 365 Ecosystem is a plus
- Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills
- Excellent at managing multiple tasks, projects and crises at the same time
- Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills
- Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
- Must have strong leadership and networking skills which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
- Experience with Microsoft products and collaboration services and tools
- Experience in Log inspections and Scripts used in Forensics of Data – only to partner with Technicians
- Experience with technology deployment processes and various methodologies
- Information Technology professional with 10+ years’ experience
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management
- Demonstrated success defining and launching products
