Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Responsible for maintaining applications in compliance with both external regulation and Bank internal mandates.
  • Manage assigned application servers to keep up to date with software updates and vulnerability remediation, including rehosting projects to update infrastructure and monitoring of server capacity and performance
  • Manage, lead and direct the work efforts of teammates and other resources to deliver required projects and deliverables.
  • Responsible for maintaining and executing technical recovery plans
  • Work with Information Security partners to plan solutions and resolve complex vulnerabilities
  • Manages and coordinates activities with vendors, contractors or other IT partners involved in the application’s functional upgrades, production issue resolution and regulatory updates, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Establishes routines to monitor and resolve required deliverables for application governance
  • Maintains up to date information regarding the application in all the required systems of record regarding permissions, interphases, connectivity, servers, used technology, etc.
  • Providing L3 support for production issues
  • Acts as an SME on the applications under his/her management
  • Acts in coordination and provides support to other application managers on common issues
  • Identification and proactive risk management.
  • Motivates and influences a team of employees toward a common goal and/or deliverable

Required Qualifications:

  • Seven years experience with software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall) and Devops practices
  • Five to seven years experience in banking segment and application architecture.
  • Strong Database knowledge.
  • Five to seven years providing level 3 Production support
  • Contribute to risk culture by holding self-accountable to managing risk.
  • Excellent oral and written communication (English-Spanish).
  • Demonstrated compliance culture.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Remains positive and focused during times of pressure or adversity.
  • Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to engage with Product and operations in technology discussions.
  • Project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to drive a project from concept to delivery.

  • Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Domain expertise in payment systems including Wire, ACH, RTP.
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
  • Knowledge of financial products data such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.

$78,200.00 - $157,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
