VP/Associate - Global Sustainable Finance Group - Asset Finance
The team is seeking to hire a Vice President / Associate in the GSFG: Asset Finance team who will be supporting deal execution across multiple transactions and maintaining day-to-day dialogue with BofA clients looking for Asset Finance financing solutions
Role:
- Support deal execution across multiple work streams to ensure seamless client experience
- Lead model preparation, financial analysis, client pitch book preparation, and credit / risk analysis
- Lead the development of key materials for senior management discussions
- Assist transaction lead and portfolio management team with ensuring that performance of previous capital investments are performing
- Support day-to-day dialogue with clients and support the development of new client relationships to establish new business opportunities
- Key skills include: general financial acumen, financial modelling, attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners, and ability to articulate independent risk views
- Liaise with senior team members regarding team tactics and strategic focus – including, client, product and sector expansion ideas

- This position is based in NY but covering the Latin America and Caribbean region – travel will be required
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years prior experience in structured finance, capital raising or investment banking
- Extensive experience in financial modeling across the capital structure
- Understanding of corporate finance, tax, accounting and regulatory rules
- Understanding of local regulation and market idiosyncrasies in Latin America and the Caribbean
- Experience looking at project finance – specifically with renewable / clean energy projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong credit analysis and assessment capabilities
- Consistent attention to detail
- Candidate must have prior experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Spanish and/or Portuguese speaker a plus
