Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing front-line support to end users, responding to issues related to incidents and problem management governance for multiple applications, and leading triage activities on all business impacting incidents. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with incident management and problem management policies and procedures, serving as a focal point for the customer, client, and associate experience, restoring complex production incidents under tight Service Level Agreements, and pursuing root cause and problem resolution follow ups.

Responsibilities

•    Provide front-line support to end users for incidents across multiple applications, focusing on triage of business impacting incidents.
•    Ensure compliance with Incident and Problem Management policies and procedures while owning the restoration process of complex/major production incidents under strict Service Level Agreements.
•    Serve as the key point for the customer, client, and associate experience and pursue root cause and problem resolution follow-up.
•    Work on Operational Support of Network Perimeter Security technologies including Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Trend Micro.
•    Participate in production support triage efforts for network infrastructure incidents, bridge line troubleshooting and appropriate team engagement, and engage in technical research and troubleshooting.
•    Utilize Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewall platforms to configure, troubleshoot, and ensure robust network security and compliance with industry standards.
•    Ensure secure data transmission and preventing unauthorized access using advanced network security protocols, including IPSec VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SSL/TLS.
•    Utilize Firewall Rule Management to develop, implement, and audit firewall rules and access control lists to ensure alignment with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
•    Utilize Incident Response and Triage to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including conducting thorough triage to determine severity and impact of incidents.
•    Perform root cause analysis of network security incidents, identifying underlying issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and managing the issue resolution process through a ticket management system.
•    Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and 
•    5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. 
•    Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
•    Utilizing Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewall platforms to configure, troubleshoot, and ensure robust network security and compliance with industry standards;
•    Utilizing Tipping Point IDS/IPS deployed in the network to block and mitigate identified malicious traffic and attacks from reaching the network through the use of signatures;
•    Utilizing Firewall Rule Management to develop, implement, and audit firewall rules and access control lists to ensure alignment with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements;
•    Utilizing Incident Response and Triage to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including conducting thorough triage to determine severity and impact of incidents; and,
•    Performing root cause analysis of network security incidents, identifying underlying issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and managing the issue resolution process through a ticket management system.
