Job Description

The Senior Leasing Officer will be responsible for developing existing relationships and bringing in new clients in support of driving lease/loan growth with assigned Originators within their respective markets. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • End-to-end sales process on assigned transactions effectively partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with assigned Originators to drive incremental revenue
  • Client negotiations
  • Coordinate and execute market activities with assigned Originators
  • Face to face calling with assigned Originators
  • Work with Management and Originations on other projects directly linked to improving performance
  • Effectively manage relationships
  • Develop and maintain vast industry knowledge for sharing within assigned territory
  • Partner successfully with Corporate Bankers in a bank environment
  • Business development projects under the direction of assigned Originators
  • Operate in a teamwork environment

Required skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified

  • 10+ years of Corporate Equipment Leasing, banking, corporate finance, sales experience
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of success
  • Customer/client relationship management
  • Customer/client industry knowledge
  • Detailed deal management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Drive for results
  • Strong corporate finance, analytical and financial analysis skills
  • Proven ability to assess customer/client needs
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Highly energetic and dynamic personality
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
  • Exceptional prioritization and organization skills a must
  • Must have the ability to think strategically and act decisively
  • Proficient level skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibit Teamwork and ability to operate in a teamwork environment
  • Travel 50%++
  • Locations: Boston, New York, Chicago, Charlotte
  • Bachelors degree or relevant work experience; MBA preferred
