Job Description:
This job is responsible for building strategic partnerships with Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, board members and other key decision-makers within targeted client groups. Key responsibilities include being able to provide creative, value-added ideas and solutions based on client needs. Job expectations include possessing a broad range of product knowledge to represent and coordinate the delivery of the full range of Global Corporate and Investment Banking capabilities for priority clients.
Responsibilities:
This role will lead and manage many of the largest and most sophisticated client relationships within the Insurance and Insurance Brokerage sectors. The clients are global and require coverage by someone who is a leader in the sector with a global and strategic perspective. This role functions as the key point of contact for the client in delivering the firm. Collaborating with and leading teams of product and banking partners locally and globally is essential. Strong knowledge of the sector, as well as of capital markets, treasury services and risk management products and how they are used by these clients is required. A proven track record of driving revenue, cross selling, responsibly growing our balance sheet and being a strong culture carrier and role model are essential.
Qualifications
- At least 10+ years of experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking
- MBA degree with outstanding academic qualifications a plus
- In depth knowledge of the Insurance and Insurance Brokerage industry
- Strong client relationships with proven business results
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strategic and creative thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead and manage teams in a fast paced environment
- Strong team player who can work across a firm at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to understand client financial objectives, analyze financing options and credit risk
