Job Description:

This role supports the Third Party Cyber Assurance team within the Bank of America Global Information Security organization. This team conducts Cybersecurity Assessments on Third Parties and utilizes a workflow application that interfaces with Third Parties across the world who receive Assessments. The Technology Operations Specialist will provide hands-on support for the Assessment application to ensure efficient and accurate completion of all Assessments conducted by the team. The specialist will work with teammates inside the organization, technology development teams, and Third Party contacts who are external to the company in a fast-paced and environment. The role also requires in-office attendance.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with Third Party contacts to establish access to the application

  • Troubleshoot access to application (external, internal users) for new users

  • Provide support for the management of Assessment records within the application

  • Respond to inquiries into the application by users, senior leaders, or external users to Bank of America

  • Partner with technology development teams when building new functionality for the application

  • Track changes to the application

  • Test application development updates

  • Serve as a helpdesk technician for current application users

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Cybersecurity (certifications such as CISSP or CISA is a plus)

  • Experience managing applications; including access, business requirements, change management, testing

  • Experience with application architecture and design

  • Proactive, self-starter, anticipates the needs of others, leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the role requires heavy interaction with teammates and external users of the application

  • Project management, time tracking

  • Can work in a fast-paced environment

  • Application troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Experience developing applications (coding) is a plus
