Responsibilities:
Supporting the Cybersecurity Release & Deployment initiatives, which involve the deployment of new security systems for high-profile projects, as well as Lifecycle Management Refresh initiatives aimed at upgrading hardware and software to mitigate risks associated with end-of-life equipment or non-permitted technologies.
Performing lifecycle management activities in support of threat product stack to ensure product compliancy, addressing vulnerabilities and maintenance of overall product health.
Performs baseline configurations and configuration changes of various network security equipment such as proxies, malware inspection devices, and load balancer applications to enhance performance.
Configures web security solutions such as security policies and rules to optimize enterprise performance and security.
Provide remote support and troubleshooting of product stack and installing, maintaining, and testing network security equipment.
Ensure technical planning and logistics occur to achieve targeted schedules and annual commitment to refresh and build requirements are met.
Develop and code automation scripts and performing automation framework scripts via Python, PowerShell, and Java.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related: and
4 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 4 years of experience in each of the following:
Engineering threat solutions including the design, low level engineering, implementation and delivery of threat products for client applications;
Planning, deploying, and overseeing various Threat platforms across all of the following: Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway, F5 SSLO, Vontu, and Trellix FireEye, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope;
Configuring web security and proxy solutions, including lifeycle management along with creating and optimizing security policies and rules to enhance performance, security, and scalability;
Automating repetitive tasks leveraging knowledge of programming languages including Python, Powershell, and Bash;
Configurating, managing, and customizing SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk ECSL) to develop threat detection capabilities and security alerts based on enterprise log data; and,
Integrating proxy solutions with existing infrastructure and streamlining communications between devices and systems using HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, and SOCKS for secure traffic routing.
10% domestic travel required, as necessary.
