Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role involves managing stakeholders, coordinating resources, and ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards. The successful candidate will lead strategic programs, including global platform migrations, regulatory initiatives, and operational excellence projects. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential to collaborate across operations and technology teams. The Project Manager also leverages AI and automation tools to enhance reporting, risk management, and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to implementation, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and expectations across all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and validate deliverables against business needs.
  • Run governance routines, senior working groups, and prepare executive-level dashboards and reports.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies between workstreams.
  • Manage project financials, resource planning, and variance tracking.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation tools to improve reporting and forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and AI integration within project workflows.
  • Support change management activities and ensure smooth adoption of project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.

Skills:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget, with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in project management roles with experience in governance and risk management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile (SAFE), DAIC, or structured methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Basic knowledge of AI concepts and experience using AI-powered tools for reporting or automation.

Additional skills:

  • Experience in Financial Services, especially Investment Banking and Global Markets Operations.
  • Knowledge of structured business analysis (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint workflows and document management.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled platforms, predictive analytics, or machine learning applications in project management contexts.
  • Strategic Thinking: Align strategies with organizational goals and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Business Results: Anticipate risks and obstacles; pursue aggressive goals; promote continuous learning.
  • People Leadership: Encourage contributions; foster open exchange of ideas; make decisions for the greater good.
