Job Description:
Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization). Works with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team. Possess a working knowledge of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization. Leverages experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software). Performs Cost/Benefit Analysis to align the technology to business strategy. Gathers & catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Determines the impact of modifications and enhancements on the application. Acts as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions. Ensures changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies. Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting, and may help configure test solutions to validate functional and system needs. Identifies, document and troubleshoot application related problems. Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications. Leads or participate in continuous improvement efforts; Building expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes. Creates, maintains and presents training materials for end-users. Individual contributor.

Job Profile Summary

The DNA ARC application is a data processing platform responsible for reliably processing large, complex and high velocity datasets as it relates to the Bank of America Global Markets Business.

Responsibilities:

This platform is also responsible for various regulatory reporting functions built on top of the data coming in and requires a business analyst to form business insights, write and communicate requirements documentation and help communicate technical delivery to front office partners.

This role is for someone with excellent communication, organization along with a high degree of curiosity and motivation to take on responsibility and drive delivery of key projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Business Analysis skills and ability to present findings from analysis to a variety of stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong domain knowledge within global markets as well as a deep understanding and familiarity working within the global markets regulatory landscape

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity

  • Ability to manage one’s own time along with a natural curiosity and ability to lead and execute on specific deliverables

Desired Qualifications

  • Self starter who can manage their own book of work without constant supervision

  • Ability to work in fast paced, team setting

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience

New York pay range:

$89,000.00 - $151,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
