Job Description:

Description:

The credit strategy group is responsible for generating forecasts and trade ideas for US corporate credit based on macroeconomic dynamics and bottom-up analysis. In addition, since this is a publishing role, the ability to articulate concepts into written summaries, both long and short format,  is required.

  • Publish daily, weekly and monthly research reports on corporate credit markets as well as periodic larger thematic pieces with original, anticipatory ideas.
  • Develop trade ideas on topical cross credit themes, and publish them in a timely and effective fashion.
  • Regularly interact with internal and external clients to articulate the team’s views and respond to client and sales/trading requests.
  • Follow market news and current events, and display an ability to integrate relevant information into published work on a timely basis.
  • Present ideas to clients via written work, phone calls and in-person visits/presentations.
  • In depth knowledge of Bloomberg, SQL, and Excel is required. Prior experience in handling and modeling big data in Python, Matlab or equivalent languages is a big plus.
