Job Description

This role will be part of Bonds And Corporate Treasury Operations desk. The team is responsible for trade validation, checking auctions bids, and ensure timely settlements with Clearing Corporation. This team also is responsible for NFRR.  The candidate should ensure compliance with rules, laws and regulations. The candidate would be able perform role of a checker. he should be able to face off to concurrent auditors.  The candidate should look for process improvement opportunities.


Responsibilities

• Support Bonds trading i.e. Primary Dealership desk and Corporate Treasury Ops desk 

• Well versed with RBI guidelines and CCIL guidelines
• Ensure accurate trade validation
• Ensure timely settlement within CCIL/RTGS cut off
• Checker role for some of the desk activities
• Regulatory reporting 
• Conversant with internal and external policy guidelines relating to products handled, promptly identify deviations and exceptions and resolve/escalate in a timely manner.
• Engage with Stakeholders including Business, Compliance, Finance, Technology for constructively resolving any queries
• Participate in various process improvement initiatives/ projects as required


Required Skills

• Sincere, bright, committed and keen to take on additional responsibility
• Experience in back-office processes relating to India  Bonds and  Treasury products
• Knowledge of settlement through Clearing Corporation and at Reserve Bank of India
• Monitoring of margin requirements 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Knowledge of regulations governing the securities and Money market
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Ensure timelines on the tasks at the desk
• Ability to work against stiff deadlines and manage work pressure
