The Team:

The Global Markets Credit (GMC) Portfolio Management Team is responsible for reporting, data analysis, and portfolio management of the GMC lending and trading portfolios.  The ABS Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and improvements of reports and data analysis for the EMEA & APAC ABS lending portfolio.

Role Description:

As an ABS Portfolio Manager, you will deliver Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) lending credit risk reporting, portfolio reviews, presentations, and written updates on a timely basis.  The ABS Portfolio Manager will enhance coverage of the EMEA and APAC regions and contribute to a robust monitoring environment, while working closely with the ABS business, Credit Officers, and other Portfolio Managers.  You will develop an understanding of Global Markets Credit (GMC) as you evaluate and monitor our ABS portfolio.

Responsibilities:

•           Own the ABS reporting and portfolio management functions for EMEA and APAC and write effective summaries and presentations to complement reporting and data

•           Interface with Credit Officers and the ABS business to ensure that key features and risks of the ABS lending portfolio are reflected in the reporting framework and identify trends and emerging risks

•           Perform evaluation as applicable to support business needs or in anticipation of market events, sector moves, or geopolitical events

•           Understand the ABS underwriting and monitoring process, including how to leverage BofA’s proprietary ABS monitoring platform for key insights

•           Coordinate with an offshore team to ensure accurate and timely processes

•           Support data integrity by identifying, escalating, and remediating data issues

•           Coordinate and contribute to presentations in response to regulatory and senior management requests

•           Support and partner with applicable stakeholders across the firm on emerging topics

What we are looking for:

•           Direct reporting experience, with at least 3 in ABS or securitised products

•           Organisational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills and attention to detail

•           Critical thinking skills to evaluate and investigate information

•           Ability to work with GMC teammates and other partners in a fast-paced environment and with a quick turnaround time

•           Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with ability to quickly learn new programs and applications. 

•           Personal drive and a sense of urgency and responsiveness with a willingness to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility

•           Desire to improve and streamline processes, along with ability to troubleshoot independently
