The Global Information Security organization is responsible for protecting bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team:

  • Develops the bank’s Information security strategy and policy
  • Manages the Information security program and identifies and addresses vulnerabilities
  • Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls portfolio
  • Manages and operates a global security operations center that monitors, detects and responds to cybersecurity incidents

The Onsite Third Party Assessor will conduct information security and business continuity assessments of vendors providing services to Bank of America. To succeed in this role, you should be highly motivated and possess strong, hands-on, technical knowledge of a wide range of information security and business continuity controls and the processes used for evaluating their design and effectiveness.

You should also possess strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate clearly and concisely to various levels, up to and including executive level management, and explain the need for key controls to technical and non-technical resources.

Technical skills include the domains of information security and business continuity including:

•Information Security Controls (Infrastructure Security, Access Management, Physical Security, Application Security, etc.)
•Change Management
•Enterprise Risk Management

Required Skills:

•Previous information technology/security audit/assessment experience preferred.
•Ability to leverage attention to detail and analytical skills.
•Ability to review user access controls and/or access management systems
•Ability to review technical network and application controls.
Ability to review endpoint protection i.e. anomaly detection, malware protection, DLP, HIPS/HIDS.
•Ability to understand and review vulnerability management program / tools.

•Ability to review deployment of patch management system and baseline configurations.
Ability to review cloud implementation and preventive, detective and technical controls within the cloud environment.
•Ability to multi-task and work both independently as well as part of an assessment team
•Ability to plan, execute and document assessment activities following established processes and procedures
Minimally, CISSP, CEH, CRISC, GSEC, CISM, Security+ and/or CISA certifications are required as well as five to eight years’ experience in information security and/or business continuity.
Operational experience or basic knowledge of O365 / G-Suite, Internet / Web and Email DLP, Network Access Control (NAC), IAM / MFA, Network Monitoring Tools, Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM), Vulnerability Scanners, Endpoint AV / Anti-Malware / Firewall / Host Intrusion, Patch Management Systems and Mobile Device Management is required.
•Must be able to travel up to 50%.

Enterprise Job Description: Responsible for defined work or projects of moderate scope and complexity to identify and mitigate third party information security risks. Works under the guidance of a more senior-level manager with limited direction. Possesses extensive technical or functional knowledge in third party risk management, information security, business continuity, and governance. Interacts extensively with internal or external stakeholders including business partners and/or external parties to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems or security gaps. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Colorado pay and benefits information

Colorado pay range:

$92,000 - $132,800 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
