Senior Digital Manager - Wealth, Preferred, Investments and Retirement Digital Team

Job Description:

Candidate will support the Wealth, Preferred, Investments and Retirement Digital team with a large scale initiatives and small enhancements geared toward optimizing our overall platform. The candidate will lead and manage advice, planning and retirement projects geared toward providing our clients with a seamless, personalized experience and innovative digital offerings. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborates with line of business and chief experience teams to outline overall strategy and prioritization of features and deliverables 
  • Collaborates with both the technology and business teams to support Agile project management.  Perform business analysis which includes: creating and grooming features, participating in story writing and reviewing feature demos.
  • Tap into competitive analysis and intel to keep the digital first motto thriving
  • Manages the creation of applicable project artifacts including: Project Intake Forms, Cost Benefit Analysis, Current & Future State Flows, Gap Analysis, Presentations and Test Scripts
  • Manages, tracks and prioritizes changes for the Digital Team for each initiative
  • Facilitate efforts to optimize the planning, retirement, associate, advisor and middle office processes
  • Lead project communication process, including developing internal/external communication and training
  • Execute end to end implementation, tests and research, resolve any ongoing support on issues

  • You have a passion for investing and experience working on consumer facing digital products in highly regulated industries.

  • You enjoy and find success driving consensus across functional teams (technology, UX, legal, risk, compliance, client facing channels, marketing, and managed investment teams). 
  • You have the unique ability to get into the details and work through challenging problems, but are able to communicate across the organization at varying executive levels regarding your product.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years working with financial services products and accounts 
  • 5+ plus years proven strong project management experience 
  • 5+ plus years of business analysis and requirements writing experience  
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and technology individuals at all levels including the executive level 
  • Understanding of one or more of the following LOBs: Consumer Investments, Wealth Management, Retirement 
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and build consensus with key business partners. 
  • Ability to quickly understand and comprehend complex scenarios while working in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to accept, process, and react to changes in direction and scope 
  • Self-starter, proactive and independent 
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles 
  • Proficient user of MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
     

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies of project management and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project 
  • 2+ years of online/website experience 
  • 2+ years of Merrill Lynch or Edge, Goals, planning, advice  
  • Undergraduate Degree
