Job Description:
Are you passionate about working with the best information security team in the world? Bank of America is hiring top talent to join our team.
The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat. In addition, the CSD team drives out the enterprise-wide cyber exercise program.
The Solutions Engineer/Analyst will be a part of the Enablement Services team, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM). IAM is a security discipline that enables the right individual to access the right resources at the right times for the right reasons. IAM addresses the mission-critical need to ensure appropriate access to the resource across increasingly heterogeneous technology environments, and to meet the increasingly rigorous compliance requirements. In this role, the Solutions Engineer/Analyst will work in IAM space on a team of consultants to help onboard applications to IAM controls either through their work directly configuring our tools, or just providing guidance. The ability to work independently and manage workload (ex. ticket queues, instant messages, calls, emails, and meetings) is key to this role. There is also a strong emphasis on client interaction as this role will work closely with application developers, product owners, and risk partners within the business to explain the importance of our policies and assist them with complying.
A risk-oriented perspective is required, along with the ability to support and adapt to processes and priorities. The Solutions Engineer/Analyst must be results-oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units at various levels. The knowledge/experience/exposure with information security topics or governance of information security practices and solutions, will be very helpful in this role. The Solutions Engineer/Analyst should be prepared to demonstrate knowledge of access management/risk identification and mitigation/project management skills.
