What you can expect
The Operations Team Lead role will have a responsibility of supervising the team based in Labuan, who support for the processing activities in Cash, Trade and Credit Operations, including related Regulatory Reporting and other operational support functions.
Bank of America NA Labuan Branch (BANA Labuan) is a licensed offshore bank which is regulated by Labuan Financial Services Authority. BANA Labuan offers services to clients which include Malaysian financial institutions and multinational corporations (MNCs), local institutional corporates. Products offered are typically the USD deposits, credit facilities, cash management services and trade finance products.
Global Banking Operations deliver seamless solutions to BANA Labuan clients, with close collaboration and support by internal business partners. The role provides agile working experience, as well as a wide range of training and development opportunities.
What you will do
Supervise the junior team members in Labuan. Including coaching, providing direction in resource management, problem solving and providing performance review input.
Handle interactions with Labuan Financial Service Authority.
Support cash, trade and credit operations, reconciliation, regulatory reporting and other operation functions.
Strengthen risk mitigation and controls by focusing on early detections and escalations.
Working as cross functional team with other operations teams, compliance, technology, sales, product, Finance, hubs and other operations group.
Keep abreast of new technologies and applications and their implications for assigned function.
