Client Protection Consumer Prod Strategy Manager II

Job Description:

The Client Protection Consumer Prod Sr. Manager will drive the design, development, and implementation of reports for Consumer products and channels. The candidate will support and deliver the analytical and reporting needs, aiming to standardize reporting across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for partnering with the Analytic Marketing Insight team to design Tableau dashboards and reports to provide the line of businesses with insights into their performance highlighting key performance indicators and anomalies / outliers. The candidate will be expected to support projects such as the migration of fraud and claims data to a singular platform, transforming the suite of fraud and claim reporting, and driving automation and consolidation reporting efforts.

Individual will be responsible for delivering with the team / key partners and providing insightful data that can be used in driving complex business decisions and processes, as well as identifying opportunities across our organization through data analytics to effectively deliver against our KPIs, goals, and priorities.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and proposing solutions for a variety of business problems and improvements using data driven insights.

  • Analyze complex data to provide insights into claims, processes, and customer impacts that support the Client Protection organization
  •  Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 analysts
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data
  • Development of adhoc reports and analytical
  • Improve and streamline processes around reporting.
  • Challenges data and information integrity. Partner with technology and key partners to ensure use of appropriate data sources are leveraged consistently to support the organization
  • Participates in the ongoing development of the strategic data platform that will improve reporting capabilities and efficiencies
  • Leverage data to understand fraudulent behavior, identify trends, and inform policy decisions
  • Deliver accurate metrics related to fraud and claim activity
  • Validate the integrity and quality of data required for performing analysis
  •  Partner with claims, policy, strategy, finance, loss forecasting, and product teams to deliver data insights and analysis that inform critical decisions and help achieve goals

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or related discipline) or 5+ years of analytical experience (Payment card /Retail Bank background preferred)
  • Strong knowledge / proficiency of SAS/SQL and Excel.
  • Ability to navigate complex data environment and manipulate large sets of data
  • Outstanding quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Proven communication skills in describing complex data to inform strategic insights and decisions
  • Ability to present, lead, support, and influence senior management and business stakeholders
  • Innovation mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Leadership and management skills, including development of teams and individuals
  • Ability to proactively identify, analyze, and improve upon existing processes for optimization and to meet deadline

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects
  •  Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, Java
  • Knowledge of data extraction tools such as Hive will be useful
