Your background

  • You are a very strong data systems developer with extensive experience in data solutioning for multiple sources.
  • You have good experience working on C# applications with good understanding of the .Net framework and client/server architecture, including MVC, WCF and windows application performance tuning skills.
  • You are a self-starter and eager learner. Good experience with other industry standard languages (for example, Java or Scala) also considered
  • You are familiar with Linux environment, including shell scripts.
  • You have a good understanding of common algorithms and data structures.
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytics skills.
  • You have a good understanding of SDLC and application of Agile Methodologies including but not limited to automated testing (such as Test-Driven Development), Code Review, Continuous Integration and Version Control Systems.
  • Ideally, you have an education in computer science (or relevant subjects).

The NFRR Data team govern and manage the data used for NFRR reports across the globe. We have a team of strong developers who are able to leverage off each other’s expertise and technical skills. We would be able to offer a highly technical track focusing on data to developers who would like to pursue career in the technical domain within the banking business.

What you will do

  • You would be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining data extracts, calculating and export to downstream systems in the Global Banking/Markets environment.
  • You would collaborating with global teams to build new functionality required for reporting solutions.
  • You would be interacting directly with the business and senior stakeholders to capture requirements without having to rely on business analysts or project managers.
  • You would be managing a high level of risk with in-depth banking business or capital markets product knowledge.
  • You would provide level 3 production support for applications.
