GWIM Sr. Operations Analyst - Performance Measurement

Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as data transmission/data management, risk controls, trader support, documentation review, data analysis, performance reporting.

Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years’ experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.

LOB Description:

This position is a GWIM Operations Team Manager role on the Performance and Data Support Team.  As part of the responsibilities of this role, the teammate is responsible for leading projects for assigned applications to address business needs. In addition, the teammate will establish and maintain working relationships across the organization.  The teammate will develop business partner relationships with internal and external Lines of Business, Operations, Technology and Control Partners to analyze, design and prepare requirements to address business needs for Client Data and Project Enablement.  Additional functions include maintenance and distribution of data files to external partners and data aggregators and support of other internal FLUs. In addition, the individual is responsible for providing production support. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure and acumen in Project Management disciplines, as well as, product knowledge within the supported Lines of Business.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years prior experience in the financial industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Math or Business
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills  
  • Must have strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communicative and relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Performance Measurement/Reporting
  • Knowledge and experience with designing, supporting, and monitoring new offerings and operational processes
  • Knowledge of Insurance and Annuity products
  • Knowledge of the First Rate, Rage, PMC, Client Review Center (CRC) or other performance aggregation platforms
  • Data transmission setup and oversight
  • Familiar with the Agile method of project management
  • Experience working with vendors/suppliers a plus
