Assistant Vice President/ Vice President Production Support for Banking and Finance Technology

Your background

  • Experience in application support processes including incident management, release management, risk governance, etc
  • Strong background in UNIX, Linux, Mulesoft, Wintel, Perl/Shell scripting, as well as ability to write SQL scripts, SQL Server, Oracle databases, .Net and JAVA
  • Ability to understand complex system interactions and break down into components and interface to enumerate failure scenario.
  • Strong problem solving skills and strong investigative approach to perform root cause analysis
  • Experience in working with multiple technical counterparts from different time zones.
  • Desire to learn new applications, tools and technology
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic who is equally capable of working in a collaborative manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you can expect

The Application Production Support role is within the banking production services group, where the successful candidate will be responsible to provide day to day operational support for global applications in APAC and interfacing with other APAC applications. This individual will be required to walk through resolving issues and incidents that are related to the system or reported by business users, as well as support change and release activities. The individual would also be required to work closely with technology and business partners across GTO to assist in risk, audit and regulatory activities that the team get engaged in to maintain the application.

What you will do

  • Knowledge of Payment / Transactional processing
  • Experience with industry standard monitoring and ticketing tools – Remedy, Splunk, AppDynamics, SiteScope is a definite advantage
  • ITIL processes knowledge: Incident Management, Request Management, and Problem Management
  • Experienced in manage stakeholders across business and technology groups in multiple locations
