Ops Risk/RCSA Lead

Job Description:

This position will focus on ensuring adherence to Enterprise Compliance

and Operational Risk policies and standards across Wholesale Credit.

Responsibilities include:

• Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) and Self Evaluation of

Compliance Risk (SECR) execution lead

• Business Control Forum Secretary

• Internal Loss Data (ILD) FLU/CF lead, including responsibility for

ensuring Wholesale Credit operational events are documented according

to the ILD standard in ORCIT, and monthly attestations

• GBAM Central Complaints team delegate for Wholesale Credit

working with the business to ensure defined SLAs are met and enterprise

metrics captured

• Fraud subject matter expert/point of contact, unique

opportunity to mature the program within the organization

• External Loss Data (ELD) dispositioning

• Participation with key partners and stakeholders to review and

address questions or newly identified potential risks for inclusion in the

Risk ID inventory

• The candidate should have a strong background in business controls or risk management, broad understanding of the Wholesale Credit organization, be comfortable working in an environment with multiple competing priorities, have a keen ability to assess operating environment performance across a number of qualitative and quantitative inputs, and have great attention to detail. • Assignment and responsibilities may change/expand to other business controls activities over time.

• Knowledge of operational risk control framework requirements / strong risk awareness and mindset

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; often with multiple top priorities

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

• Independent thinker who is proactive and takes initiative to solve business problems

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills / talks and writes in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience

• Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders across the organization and partnering organizations

• Proven relationship management skills to influence decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple business partners

• Strong MS Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 5-7 years of Risk Management experience

• Working familiarity with risk management, regulatory, and/or compliance disciplines

• Analytic skills; ability to translate quantitative data and qualitative information for leadership consumption

• Resilience; deals effectively with pressure; remains optimistic and persistent, even under adversity. Recovers quickly from setbacks. Comfortable defending position through socialization and escalation

• Collaboration; develops networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build relationships and achieve common goals.
