Global Leasing - Syndications Support Specialist

Essential Functions:

Incumbent is responsible for supporting the Syndications team within Global Leasing to include:

  • Preparing Confidential Information Memorandums on syndicated transactions, facilitating the gathering of critical deal information, and managing transactions on Syndtrak.

  • Evaluating the creditworthiness of companies involved in potential syndication transactions.  Includes reviewing, spreading and analyzing financial condition, generating credit questions, obtaining rating agency, analyst and other third party reports. 

  • Helping answer investor credit questions and addressing investor requests on new transactions.

  • Preparing pitch books and term sheets on syndicated transactions.

  • Assisting syndicators in pricing and structuring transactions.

  • Assisting in the servicing of existing transactions and handling requests from investors in this regard.

  • Reviewing transactions in Global Leasing’s portfolio including running screening reports, reviewing pricing, reviewing documents and assessing liquidity.    

  • Participating in special projects - Sugar, Dealflo, servicing issues, investor prospecting effort, etc.

This position is posted as a Senior Leasing Syndications Support Specialist, but is flexible to be filled as a Leasing Syndications Support Specialist position based on the skill set/experience of the candidate.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree – accounting, finance, economics, math or other business concentration; MBA desired, but not necessary.

Preferred Prior Work Experience: 

Credit background or formal training required.  Some client relationship management and/or syndication experience desired - Leasing preferred.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, writing and general communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask

  • Basic knowledge of key aspects of equipment finance including structuring, pricing, accounting, credit and documentation

  • Exhibit teamwork

  • Some aptitude or experience in Sales and a desire to grow capabilities in this regard

  • Ability to work with many disciplines within Global Leasing and the Bank

  • Proficiency with MS Office software applications

  • Proficiency in SuperTrump a positive

  • Travel – up to 5%
