Role Description:

We are looking for a Technical Project and Release Manager to work in the XVA Technology team. XVA is a business group that includes multiple Front Office desks centrally managing CVA (counterparty credit risk) and FVA (funding risk) for all trading portfolios and asset classes across Global Markets.

The successful candidate will work primarily on ensuring that XVA`s core Quartz (Python-based) applications have a planned release schedule (rebases, analytics upgrades, functional releases) and will execute on this plan whilst adhering to XVA`s acceptance, dev, QA and UAT testing and release criteria.  This will involve close collaboration with XVA`s developers and QA teams as well as a good understanding of the firm-wide release procedures to ensure the smooth transition of each release into prod.

This role would suit a delivery-focused technical PM with a strong background working within technology teams to deliver projects and looking to work on a high-profile application in a critical business area.

Core Skills:

Essential:

  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices including unit testing, continuous integration, refactoring
  • Software release management experience

Preferred:

  • - Jira knowledge
  • - Some Python or coding knowledge
