EIT is a centralized group within Global Risk Management responsible for independent testing of operational processes within the eight lines of business and enterprise control functions at Bank of America to ensure the company is in compliance with domestic and international laws, rules and regulations, and that risk and controls procedures are operating effectively.

The Testing Specialist II may direct entry-level testers, test leaders or directly manage a specialty function. This role is accountable for accurate and timely test execution and/or supports operational and administrative initiative activities related to a Testing Functional area including multiple stakeholders. This role interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems.

Daily responsibilities of the Testing Specialist II include execution of test scripts, identifying and documenting defects and providing daily updates to test leads and managers as needed. This role works closely with Risk, Compliance, and SMEs to conduct testing.

The Testing Specialist II has intermediate knowledge of test execution and system(s) of record required, and translates business strategy into work programs and processes. This role may contribute and/or participate in multiple special projects.

This role is responsible for testing execution of tests and surveillances aligned to the Global Wealth and Investment Banking (GWIM) division. Daily interaction occurs with senior compliance and supervisory management. The Testing Specialist II, under supervision, conducts independent transactional and process testing on a team in support of needs identified by Compliance and Operational Risk Officers.

Compliance testing may include activities such as automated surveillance and transaction level testing. The Testing Specialist II is accountable for quality testing execution, reporting and analysis of results. This role may participate in test script development and test design. The Testing Specialist II contributes to the identification of themes and trends at the front line unit, control function and enterprise level. This role is an individual contributor in the Test Execution function.

Required Skills and Experience:
◾5 years Business & Functional Experience
◾Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
◾Good understanding of the broker-dealer business and products
◾Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment
◾Fluent in verbal and written English language


Desired Skills and Experience:
◾Familiar with trade surveillance related external laws, rules, regulation (such as FINRA rules), internal policies, standards and procedures (such as Market Conduct Risk Framework [38]) and industry guidance
◾Experience using surveillance tools such as Actimize Surveillance
◾Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
◾Intellectual curiosity, anticipate risk and forward thinking
◾Series 7, 63 desired or related licenses
