Fiduciary Tax Accountant III

Providence, Rhode Island;

Job Description:

Responsible for all tax reporting of estate accounts for the duration of the estate settlement process and ongoing technical support to Estate Settlement Services.  Responsible for all assigned accounts, achieving client focused service standards and complying with Bank standards and policies, and federal and state laws.  Build partnerships and develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners.  Proactively manage risk by identifying and escalating risks promptly.  Embrace change while controlling risk and drive consistency with the practice.  Take personal responsibiilty for career development. 

Qualififications/Desired Skiils:  The associate has the administrative and technical skills to provide tax technical advice, prepare and review the most complex returns and manage the contact, the outside counsel, as well as internal business partners.  Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a fiduciary tax services environment working with transfer tax and fiduciary income tax returns.  Accounting, finance or law degree required.  Tax technical skills with abilitiy to research, draw conclusions an drive appropriate buisness decisions.  Able to work in multi-task environment and deliver results.  Demonstrated oral, written and presentation communication skills.
