Process Overview

The CSWT team leads the development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company’s consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. Manages the Bank’s award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Digital, Online, Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, Payments and Commerce, Fraud, Financial Center and Architecture Technologies.

The CTO team is responsible for all Retail, Preferred and Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) business aligned infrastructure and end-to-end production services. This includes direct responsibility for production support, problem and incident management, operational change, as well as service and program delivery. Also supporting vertical functions (Release, Deployment & Environment Management, Application Integration & Engineering, Application Integration & Engineering, Performance & Capacity Management, and Operational Excellence) to deepen concentration stability and innovation.

Job Description

As a member of Windows Server Application Integration team will be responsible for system design and application integration on various platforms that support the Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management business. Knowledge of ITIL process.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively, clearly articulating technical issues, problem incident resolution, readiness status and reporting
  • Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented and responsible team player
  • Perform retrofits,  test and production code deployments enabling daily, weekly, monthly code migration
  • Validate deployments and communicate code readiness across stakeholders
  • Participate in triage and incident management
  • Execute manual and automate deployment functions and responsibilities
  • Provide Application and Environment Support and Triage
  • Manage and Prioritize Defects via ALM Quality Center

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Experience Range: 3 – 5 years

Foundational skills:

  • Strong experience with IIS web servers, Microsoft Windows Server technologies(2008/2012/2016) and Linux
  • Middleware experience or Webhosting applications experience is must. Candidate should have good knowledge on IIS 7 or 8.5. hands-on experience is Triaging and troubleshooting Windows / IIS logs, core dumps logs and performance logs is Must
  • Candidate should have Experience in Blade logic Administration, Scripting and packaging experience or CA Unicenter Deployment Experience. Powershell Scripting experience is required.
  • Should be comfortable documenting Systems design, configuration, create Run books for first level support and to provide better and consistent support throughout SDLC
  • Willing to work in 24/7 environment
  • Knowledge on (Global Traffic Management, LTM, F5, Multiple Data centers, GeoDNS, Load balancers), clustering technologies, SAN / NAS storage, etc.
  • Role includes Systems Engineering, Integration, QA, and build environments with project based different technologies, assist Operations in Production deployment/issues during releases

  • Member should have some knowledge on Continuous Deployment / Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge on Continuous Deployments is a Plus ( Ansible, XLrelease, Jenkins, Bitbucket)

  • Organizational Skills and Troubleshooting Skills
