VP- Retail Client Manager- Dallas

Develops dealer relationships for the purpose of selling loan products. Maintains a dialogue around problems and possible solutions, product needs, competitive issues, and ways to improve dealer value. At this level, the focus of the position will be retail lending; however, some associates may have commercial relationships with some dealers.

The Retail Client Manager's primary responsibility is to develop and manage dealer relationships for the purpose of increasing  auto applications and  loan production.  Successful client managers will prospect new clients, share the benefits of our program, and upon signing manage all aspects of the dealer's portfolio to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership is maintained.  Secondary responsibilities include cross selling Merrill Edge, integrating with local Bank of America leaders, and working with DFS partners for referral opportunities.  This position will also require working closely with underwriting and support staff to ensure all aspects of the market are appropriately managed.  The position will require a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills , time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to perform market analysis, forecasting, and development. 

Requirements: Position requires 5+ years experience selling retail auto financing to automobile dealerships or outside sales skills.   Strong communicator and good negotiation skills.  Individual contributor with team player attitude.  Sufficient with general computing skills including MS Outlook, Windows, Excel, Powerpoint, iPAD functionality, Autocount and Salesforce. 

Bachelor's degree is strongly recommended

Desired Skills:

The ability to work independently or in a team environment.

An understanding of both direct and indirect auto lending as well as online auto car shopping sites and lead sources is preferred.

Have established relationships with the Dallas market with Auto Dealer decision makers.  

Undergraduate degree preferred.
