Assistant Vice President, APAC Credit Trade Control

We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills. 

The candidate must demonstrate maturity, sense of urgency and have a good understanding in the derivatives sales and trading flows.

Essential Education:
∙ Degree qualification is essential
∙ Bloomberg experience
∙ Fluent English

Essential Experience/Technical Knowledge(preferable):
∙ Proficiency in MS Product Suite i.e. Excel, Word etc
∙ VBA & SQL programming skills optional

What you can expect

The Credit Trade Control team supports multiple aspects of post execution trade services for Asia Credit Trading desk and Asia Distressed Trading desk.  We also support aspects of Lifecycle, fails management as well as provide various other general desk support activities including query management.  Candidate is required to have basic knowledge on bonds and credit default swaps. Beside supporting daily operations, assisting on regional projects and initiatives, he or she will be performing as well as supervising associates on above functions.

What you will do

- Ensure all trades are accurately booked and resolve all associated operational queries.  This includes trade reconciliations, coordination with settlements teams, Regional Sales and Finance teams
- Timely response to client queries regarding the settlement of their trade
- Report generation; breaks investigation and resolution
∙ Manage Euroclear Recalls and avoid buy-in due to failure to deliver
∙ Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution to feeding and other risk issues
- Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or initiatives
- Supervise the overall trade control activities on bonds
