Job Title: Project Manager - Finance Solutions

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Finance Project Manager to work with the established team in London. This is a varied and interesting role that will focus on operational excellence projects and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the line of business.

Overview of the Role:

  • Working within the GBAM CFO COO team assisting on Operational Excellence related projects

  • Span of work to include assisting on, Operational Excellence routines, organisational design initiatives inclusive of location strategy

  • Assist with the responsibilities of emerging technology & its related governance

  • Manages medium-large financial solutions projects and/ or leads a segment of large, complex projects

  • Manages the research of existing operations, procedures, accounting transactions, workflow, product and service requirement

  • Directs the analysis of assembled data to define problems associated with project scope and help determine the appropriate financial system solution. Directs project parameters, cost and resource estimates

  • Works closely with the line of business, Change Management, technology and other partners to execute the project plan

  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of the bank's financial solutions and associated operations

Core Skills:

  • Process improvement and operational excellence

  • Data governance, process governance

  • Analyse, improve and document processes in the organisation

  • Finance based Global Banking and Markets experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence or low code technologies (e.g. Alteryx/Knime, Tableau, UIPath/Pega)

  • Programming experience – ideally (R, Python, SQL – most relevant)

  • Supervise governance of emerging technology adoption in the organisation

  • Manage license allocation and new tech user groups

  • Perform peer review of low code solutions
