DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

Role Summary:

Team is currently seeking a seasoned DevOps CI/CD engineer to support our Technology Infrastructure Services Organization.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, where you can really exercise your ‘enterprise’ chops. Help us do more of the cool stuff we do!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop CI/CD pipeline in support of a large Splunk environment
  • Lead workgroups effectively in order to conduct interviews effectively, and non-judgmentally
  • Identify additional technology SMES and secure needed resources
  • Be resourceful, self-directed, and be able to multi-task

Required Skills:

  • 3 or more years hands on experience with Linux/UNIX with an emphasis on builds, scripting, automation, and performance.
  • 5 or more years advanced shell scripting skills.
  • Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift), Linux, Python scripting, Ansible Tower
  • Must be able to communicate advanced command line and administration skills in interview.
  • Must be able to speak to Splunk data life cycle.
  • Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units at various levels

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of privilege elevation tools
  • Self-motivated, confident and reliable
  • Willing to work in a team-oriented environment with global team members
  • Ability to document and follow installation procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc.
  • Experience with ITSM Remedy or other ITSM tools
  • Experience in a high volume Splunk environment
  • Rsyslog v8+ experience and advanced configuration knowledge
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
