Description

Canada Trading Technologies provides technology solutions to enhance/support the Global Markets business. There are numerous trading applications used on the Bank of America trading floors - facilitating trade capture, market data distribution, position and client risk management and trade execution and settlement. These systems are varied in their implementation, some are enterprise products, vendor hosted and others are internally hosted by other Bank of America locations.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with the Trading desk, Risk managers, Finance & other Operations groups to solve day-to-day issues

  • Network with change/release managers/groups across technology

  • Co-ordinate change and risk request for the Canada Global Markets Technology team

  • Prioritize and deliver multiple projects including audit, regulatory and other business mandates

  • Participate with the group/team to deliver and implement technology solutions

  • Act as a liaison between the business unit and technical development staff and/or vendors

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial markets/products/systems

  • Undergraduate degree in computer sciences, business, finance, information technology or equivalent

  • Proven self-starter capable of working independently in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to handle competing priorities

  • Client service orientation and drives to over-deliver to clients in a timely manner

  • Strong attention to detail and intensity regarding execution

  • SDLC methodology and Agile project experience

  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

  • Superior problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
