Role Description

  • VP/Director level Investment Grade Asia Corporate Credit Trader wanted for Hong Kong-based role as part of APAC Credit Flow Trading team.
  • Candidate will help drive BofA’s Asia IG bond trading franchise, managing risk, and generate trade ideas.
  • The role will entail working closely with our sales teams to broaden and deepen client relationships.
  • The Asia Credit Trading desk operates in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore and is primarily responsible for making markets in Asia corporate debt products.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a credit trading role or similar with experience pertinent to making markets in Asia IG bonds with demonstrated track record. Prior experience in a large investment bank an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of various trading systems/platforms
  • Genuine interest in credit markets and good understanding of global markets
  • Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic record
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/
  • English fluency required; mandarin skill highly desired
