The Central Risk Book (CRB) technology team support the CRB business in the Global Markets and Investment Banking Group. The team provides innovative solutions for low touch facilitation of client flow, hedging and smart position management.

The CRB team is a global team with a solid presence in AMRS, EMEA and APAC. We aim to maintain a global perspective while recognizing and responding to specific regional requirements that make each market unique.

Role Description

The role is to work in the quality assurance area within CRB; assist in the front to back testing of CRB applications.  The role will require working with the business users, development, analysts and support teams to assist in the delivery of enhancements.

Day to day responsibilities will include defining and writing test scripts for various old and new CRB components and Market Data Platform.

Operating with primary focus on EMEA system development & enhancement, but also working closely with the Global CRB team and global projects based on business priority.

The Team

The EMEA Central Risk Book (CRB) technology team is a vibrant team of experienced developers, business analysts and QA experts working closely with the business group.  The team supports an existing product set and due to a focus on this business area within BAML, is also building the next generation GBAM platform.

Core Skills

              

  • Knowledge of Capital Markets, Equities, Indexes, Risk Fill, unwinds, internal crossing, single stock, ETF’s, position keeping,  Cross Currency, Index/ETF decomposition and Market Making

  • Proven experience of automated testing using Python scripting

  • Have basic knowledge of the booking process for Risk Fill booking and unwind booking

  • Enthusiastic solid-minded person able to work closely with the development team and help instil a testing culture

  • Solid team, communication and planning/organising skills

  • Experience of setting up test frameworks for new projects

  • Experience of the development of repeatable test suites for testing F2B processes

  • Practical experience of QA testing within investment banking

  • Efficient with UNIX, Java, C++

  • Experience with UNIX, PERL, shell and Python scripting

  • Detailed knowledge of the FIX protocol

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Autosys, ITRS
