Position Description

The Human Resources Manager works as part of the regional Human Resources (HR) team in delivering HR services to a number of key lines of business in APAC.

You will be an experienced HR partner who supports business growth by providing efficient, consistent and proactive HR consultancy to multiple lines of business. This will range from day to day implementation of HR practices to involvement in critical business initiatives within a regulatory environment.

This role will partner directly with our business leaders. You will provide a value added, efficient, consistent and proactive HR consultancy support to the line of business.  The activities range from day to day operational assistance to implementation of critical HR initiatives.

This role is requires you to leverage HR resources effectively both regionally and globally in order to operate as a truly effective HR partner to your line of business.  Proven experience in driving outcomes and influencing key stakeholders is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an effective Human Resources (HR) partner to support local business growth, by providing efficient, consistent and proactive HR consultancy support to your portfolio of line of business, ranging from day to day implementation of HR practices to involvement in critical business initiatives/projects.

  • In partnership with specialist functions, provide strategic advice & support on all HR related matters, including but not limited to recruitment and termination, performance management, learning & leadership development, compensation & benefits, HR policies review and implementation, employee relations and any other HR initiatives/projects.

  • Be well versed in APAC employment laws and any changing legislation and ensure any local HR practices are in line with the laws and regulations as well as global/regional policies and guidelines.

  • Offer expertise and understanding of local needs and market practice in the review and implementation of HR programs, policies and procedures.

  • Any other ad-hoc HR assignment where necessary

Key Requirements

  • HR experience within Multinational Corporation.

  • Solid knowledge of HR management and practices, operations.

  • Strong Proficiency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with both stakeholders and employees.

  • Be familiar with APAC Labor laws.

  • Strong consulting and relationship building skills.

  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Human Resources or Psychology.
