Job Title: Operations Analyst – EMEA Asset Services Tax Operations

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join the EMEA Asset Services Department. The EMEA Asset Services department are responsible for corporate action and dividend event types relating to equity and fixed income products. The Tax Operations teams support relief at source, tax reclaims and credit advice where appropriate.

Role Description

  • Liaising with and resolving asset servicing tax related queries for clients, internal and external
  • Timely management of positions and recovery of funds claimed by Bank of America
  • Reconcile positions, calculate reclaimable tax quantities and complete documentation to submit reclaims
  • Implementation of relief at source where appropriate
  • Produce credit advice documents
  • Report to senior management the status of reclaims and credit advice
  • Timely reconciliations and escalation of risk where necessary
  • Ability to adhere to targets and deadlines
  • Maintain risk within the levels set by the management team

The Team

The EMEA Asset Services Department are a Team of 6 in Dublin which form a wider group of 53 in the location.

Core Skills

  • Previous relevant experience within Banking and/or  Financial services industry
  • Income tax experience would be very beneficial
  • Corporate actions or dividends experience would be very beneficial
  • High level of client service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail is required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good PC skills
  • A flexible approach to work and the needs of the department
